(a) Using the Techstream, check that the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

HINT:

  • Refer to CAN Bus Check in CAN Communication System.

  • The occupant detection ECU is connected to the CAN communication system. Therefore, before starting troubleshooting, make sure to check that there are no malfunctions in the CAN communication system.
