CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

When replacing the radio and display receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a radio and display receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:

A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
The radio and display receiver assembly may not operate normally.

HINT:

Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance, performing initialization, registration or calibration may be needed. Refer to Precaution for Navigation System.

PROCEDURE

1.	CHECK COVERAGE AREA

(a) Check that the current position of the vehicle is within the HD weather and traffic or DCM communication function coverage area.

OK:

Vehicle is within coverage area.

MOVE TO WITHIN COVERAGE AREA

2.	CHECK SYMPTOMS

(a) Check for symptoms (poor sound quality, sounds cannot be heard, etc.) during conventional FM radio broadcasting.

Symptoms do not occur	B

GO TO "RADIO BROADCAST CANNOT BE RECEIVED OR POOR RECEPTION" IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE

3.	CHECK SYMPTOMS

(a) Check for symptoms (Unable to connect to call center, etc.) with an ordinary safety connect.

GO TO "UNABLE TO CONNECT TO CALL CENTER" IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
