PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT (CLOCK ASSEMBLY)

(a) Check illumination.

(1) Apply battery voltage to the seat belt warning light (clock assembly) and check that it illuminates.

OK:

Condition

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (IG+)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 12 (RLID)

LH light illuminates

Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (IG+)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 13 (RCID)

Center light illuminates

Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (IG+)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 14 (RRID)

RH light illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the seat belt warning light (clock assembly).
