CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS

PROCEDURE

1. CUSTOMIZE LIGHTING SYSTEM (INT)

(a) Customizing using the Techstream

HINT:

The following items can be customized.

NOTICE:

  • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
  • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
  • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

(1) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(2) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(3) Turn the Techstream on.

(4) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Utility / Customize / Illuminated Entry.

(5) Select the setting by referring to the table below.

Lighting Time

Changes the lighting time of the following lights that are operated by the timer function when the DOOR switch of the map light assembly is on:

  • Map Light Assembly
  • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
  • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Door Ambient Illumination Light)*1
  • Instrument Cluster Finish Panel Garnish (Cup holder Illumination Light)*1

I/L when ACC OFF

Turns off the following lights automatically when the door switch of the map light assembly is on and the ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off:

  • Map Light Assembly
  • No. 1 Room Light Assembly

I/L ON W/Door Key Unlock

Turns on the following lights automatically when the door switch of the map light assembly is on and the doors are unlocked by an unlock operation (key-linked, wireless or entry unlock function):

  • Map Light Assembly
  • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
  • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Door Ambient Illumination Light)*1
  • Instrument Cluster Finish Panel Garnish (Cup Holder Illumination Light)*1

0:OFF,1:ON

Room Light when Aprchd

Turns on the following lights when the door switch of the map light assembly is on and the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is brought near the vehicle (*2):

  • Map Light Assembly
  • No. 1 Room Light Assembly

0:OFF,1:ON

Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)

Light Control

Dims the following lights when the ignition switch is ON and the shift lever is moved to any position other than P:

  • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Door Ambient Illumination Light)*1
  • Instrument Cluster Finish Panel Garnish (Cup Holder Illumination Light)*1

ON

0:OFF,1:ON

Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)

Interior Light Control

Turns on the following lights:

  • Map Light Assembly
  • No. 1 Room Light Assembly

ON

0:OFF,1:ON

Interior Illumination Light

Turns on the following lights:

  • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Door Ambient Illumination Light)*1
  • Instrument Cluster Finish Panel Garnish (Cup Holder Illumination Light)*1

Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)

  • *1: w/ Door Ambient Illumination Light
  • *2: w/ Smart Key System

(b) Customizing with the multi-display (for Radio and Display Type)

(1) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(2) Enter the following menus: MENU / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Lights Settings.

(3) Select the setting by referring to the table below.

  • Instrument Cluster Finish Panel Garnish (Cup holder Illumination Light)*1

Off, 7.5 sec., 15 sec., 30 sec.
