Removal

REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during the windshield wiper relay assembly removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER RELAY ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the bolt.

(c) Disengage the guide to remove the windshield wiper relay assembly.

Installation

INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER RELAY ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the guide and install the windshield wiper relay assembly with the bolt. Torque: 12.5 N·m {127 kgf·cm, 9 ft·lbf}

(b) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
