SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
GENERAL
(a) The rear window defogger wire is attached to the inside of the rear window and defogs the window surface quickly when the rear window defogger switch is pressed. The indicator light on the switch illuminates while the system is operating. This system automatically turns off after approximately 15 minutes.
HINT:
- If both of the following conditions are met after approximately 15 minutes
from when the window defogger system was activated, the window defogger
system continues to operate up to approximately 45 minutes. If the following
conditions are not met, the window defogger system stops operating immediately.
- The outside temperature is -3°C (27°F) or lower.
- The vehicle speed is 45 km/h (28 mph) or more.
NOTICE:
If the battery voltage becomes low, window defogger system operation is canceled to prioritize supplying power to the power steering system.
