INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH

(a) Check the resistance.

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection

Switch Condition

Specified Condition

4 (IG) - 1 (E)

Pressed (ON)

Below 1 Ω

4 (IG) - 1 (E)

Not pressed (OFF)

10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch.

(Fuel Lid Opener Switch)

(b) Check that the LED illuminates.

(1) Apply battery voltage to the fuel lid opener switch and check that the fuel lid opener switch illuminates.

OK:

Measurement Condition

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)

LED illuminates

Battery negative (-) → 2 (ILL-)

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch.
