INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NT)
(a) Apply Toyota Genuine CVT fluid FE to a new O-ring.
(b) Install the O-ring to the transmission revolution sensor (NT).
(c) Install the transmission revolution sensor (NT) to the continuously variable transaxle assembly with the bolt.
Torque:
5.4 N·m {55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf}
(d) Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NOUT)
(a) Apply Toyota Genuine CVT fluid FE to a new O-ring.
(b) Install the O-ring to the transmission revolution sensor (NOUT).
(c) Install the transmission revolution sensor (NOUT) to the continuously variable transaxle assembly with the bolt.
Torque:
5.4 N·m {55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf}
(d) Connect the connector.
3. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NIN)
(a) Apply Toyota Genuine CVT fluid FE to a new O-ring.
(b) Install the O-ring to the transmission revolution sensor (NIN).
(c) Install the transmission revolution sensor (NIN) to the continuously variable transaxle assembly with the bolt.
Torque:
5.4 N·m {55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf}
(d) Connect the connector.
4. INSTALL BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

8. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

10. INSTALL BATTERY

11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
