Toyota CH-R Service Manual: Power Retractable Mirrors do not Operate with Power Retract Mirror Switch
DESCRIPTION
The outer mirror switch assembly sends a mirror retract/return signal to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) when the retractable outer mirror switch on the outer mirror switch assembly is operated. The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) retracts or returns the outer rear view mirror assemblies based on the signal.

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM |
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
(e) Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

(a) Remove the MIRROR(+) relay from the No. 4 relay block assembly. |
|
(b) Remove the MIRROR(-) relay from the No. 4 relay block assembly.
(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(b) Remove the MIRROR(-) relay from the No. 4 relay block assembly.
(c) Disconnect the F16 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(b) Remove the MIRROR(-) relay from the No. 4 relay block assembly.
(c) Disconnect the J7 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.
(d) Disconnect the I8 outer rear view mirror assembly RH connector.
(e) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
